As a Neutral Expert for School Choice, I can help with research, compare/contrast, and recommendations for Public and Private Daycare, Preschool, Kindergarten/Elementary School, Middle School, and High School for Colorado separating/divorcing parents.
If you are working with a Mediator, I can help provide objective school guidance and education to aid in your negotiations/discussions.
Your attorney is your legal expert, and I am your school expert. I can create an Educational Report if needed, complete with supporting documentation. If need be, I can also provide Expert or Advisory Witness testimony in arbitration or court.
I specialize in school recommendations for: families relocating to/moving within Colorado who want schools to drive their home search; divorce and separation school choice; and supporting families with gifted, disabled, and/or twice exceptional (2e) students.
I sit on the Board for the Forgotten Adoption Option (a nonprofit designed to help find forever families for the 100,000 children waiting in US Foster Care), the Woman in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Network Rocky Mountain Board of Directors, the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) Denver Board of Directors, and the Project Safeguard Board of Directors (a nonprofit that supports survivors of gender-based violence).
I am a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). I also hold a Certificate of Leadership and a Certificate of Management Excellence from the American Management Association, and a Training Manager Specialty Certification from Langevin Learning.
An alumnus of the University of Denver (DU), I earned my BA in Digital Media Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with Departmental Honors.
